My name is Tina Swanson. My husband Tom and I moved to Guernsey county in 2020 to be close to my parents. We have been working hard to situate our ranch and home to accommodate the needs of our animals and our lifestyle. We continue to be a progress in process; follow our journey by subscribing to our newsletter!
I was a horse lover girl that grew into a horse loving lady. Once my children arrived I moved into a horse, hog and goat 4-H, then began my journey of becoming a certified riding instructor, as well as equine assisted learning. I volunteered at a riding camp before settling into a ranch manager at a year-round camp for 8 years. My leadership skills have been encouraged by years of an entrepreneur mind set. I had a few small businesses in my earlier years that opened up the door of listening to and following many great leadership speakers and it continued on with getting the gift of continued education at camp conferences twice a year where I opted for leadership learning and continued ed with my riding instructor certification. I am now owner and operator of Lantern Lighter Ranch LLC, as well as a Mimi.
My passion is helping others to grow personally and professionally to see the value in themselves and their group to reach dreams of their own. It's never too late to keep teaching and it's never too late to continue learning.
My husband, Tom, is a retired firefighter, EMT, First responder, and is currently a maintenance man and helps keep a multitude of things running as they should- here at the ranch and home. He is a man of God and encourages others in an amazing way.
We are truly blessed.
